Why Markt

When recurring payments are a large part of your business revenue, integrating with Stripe is necessary.
They offer a subscription management model which adds a 0.5% fee on top of every subscription in addition to providing a difficult to integrate with API.
But now, Markt provides a simple, easy to use app to manage your subscriptions through Stripe while offering more features and at a more attractive fee rate.

Using Markt

To use Markt, a user is required to, after registration, create a Stripe account and provide Markt with the api keys for each of the System Tenants(development environments).
After this step, the user has the freedom to customize their experience. Markt offers many different color theme options and lets the user upload their own logo.
The user now will need to configure the subdomain url for the hosted version of their site so their customers can connect to it.
At this point, the user has the ability to start creating and defining their subscription offers and products for their customers. Markt then takes care of making the products available to the user's customers and handles communication bewtween the business and its customers.

Frequently asked questions

Should I go with Markt or with Margot Okapi?: Markt is designed for teams that want to skip diving into the technical task of building out their own APIs to communicate with Margot Okapi and instead go with a pre-built app. If your organization has a development team that prefers to build their own interface and stick with the original Margot Okapi costs, then that option is probably right for you.
Is this a completely separate payment processing system from Stripe?: No. We are integrated with Stripe and handle the payment processing through them. We instead offer a cheaper, easier way to integrate with them and view and edit your subscriptions.
Can you process and track refunds?: Yes, we do process and track refunds. In fact, we record and track all of your transactions, both successful as well as any that are attempted but failed, providing you with more insight into your business.
Is this really THAT much cheaper than Stripe?: Stripe charges a transactional fee rate of 0.5% on every subscription for them to manage. Margot Okapi Premier charges half of that at 0.25%, which will quickly add up with each subscription that you process.
What payment methods do you accept?: All payments are handled through Stripe and so we accept the same.
What about security?: As security is a high priority for us, we use AES256 for encryption and we do not store any individual Stripe payment instrument details.
Do you store or track any of my customer's information?: No we do not but we do communicate with them. We do this with real time callbacks to your system when tenant info is required but their personal details are never stored.
